Simply stated, it pays money (the 'death benefit') to your family or business (the 'beneficiaries') in the event of your death, if you are the insured. If you don't already have life insurance, you should consider it. The fact remains - whether you want to think about it or not, things have to go on without you.
Conseco offers four types of life insurance products:
- Term Life Insurance - Straightforward coverage that covers you for a set period of time.
- Indexed UL Life Insurance - Permanent coverage with a cash value tied to the markets
- Whole Life Insurance - Permanent coverage that builds cash value with guaranteed premiums
- Universal Life Insurance - Permanent coverage that's flexible to meet your needs and builds cash value
